Only two actual comm.s to pimp out right now.

The first one is: [info]eclipse_tabloid
- this is a comm. I made to hold all of my writings from my other LJs in case people don't want to friend all of them. You don't have to join the comm. (membership isn't allowed anyway), you can just watch and you will be able to see all my stuff: fanfics from other fandoms, book reviews, movie reviews and all sorts of other stuff.

Don't be afraid to go look! [Although I really don't have much up yet, I have some stuff from other journals I need to post up but I've been really busy lately so...yeah, you all know the story in the previous entries, lol]

The second one is: [info]epicfandom
- this is a comm. made specifically for all those really long, wonderful fanfics known as EPIC!fics. You can post from what ever fandom you want. You can even post your NaNo stuff there as long as it abides by the rules in the user info.

You can even do fanart of your fav. EPIC!fic - you can even do recommendations linked to other places as long as it is long and EPIC!

Well, today I actually spent a few hours getting my assignment for my figure modeling class done - I really have 90% of it done, the other 10% I'll do tomm. in touching it up and approaching it after a night's rest.

It really does feel good to be ahead and on top of things...But still pretty weird in knowing that today was a Saturday, not Sunday or around the-last-minute...

I said I would post pictures of where me and my family went on Friday and while they are late (it's not Saturday anymore, lol) here they are [there are alot of them - click on them to enlarge]:

I'm actually ahead in my assignments for school! It feels so weird but calming in a way to be ahead and I may actually finish before the day they are all due (I only have two assignments left and some notes to compile), which is very good considering i have midterms next week. *cringes*

Me, my parents and eldest nephew (5 yrs) went down town today and I took lots of pics with my camera and alot of them came out great! I'll post them tomm. (or later today, morelike, lol).

Watched 'The Ring' for a third time and it still manages to creep me out, lol. It's a great movie because it is one of the very few American remakes of a Japanese horror film that successfully retains the creepiness/horror of the original.I love watching horror films during October - I want to try and read Dracula this month but I don't know if I will be able to...My 50bookchallenge has become pretty sluggish in the past two months.

It feels so weird to be this relaxed but I am....lol

Need to enjoy it while it lasts...:P

THIS IS WHAT AN ADOLESCENT ROMANCE WITH A VAMPIRE SHOULD BE LIKE:

YEAH - SUCK ON THAT, BELLA/EDWARD. :P

*if you couldn't tell, I have little to no respect for the Twilight series or anything else Meyer writes*

I am back after two days of constant school work and, boy, is it a load off. I will be starting Module 3 tomm. in my classes.

But today, I got the back issues I ordered for the magazine Bookmarks. I can't help but love that magazine...What RottenTomatoes.com is for movies, Bookmarks Magazine is for books.

I have been getting into more magazines than I have in the past...I mean, I've always been into Entertainment Weekly (mainly when it had stories I wanted to read). But now I am into Otaku USA (anime/magna magazine), Bookmarks (a great collection of everything books and reviews), Wizard (all about comics and complete geek indulgence for me), and sometimes the Star Wars or SciFi magazine (depending on what stories they have).

I get them usually, but it takes a while for me to actually sit down and read them...

Oh well, at least I don't have to worry about running out of reading material...Especially when the magazines only give me more books to read. *lol*

I am apparently reading 6 books at the same time...

Been a while since I've read this many books at the same time. I have come to prefer reading books one at a time that way I can appreciate them individually but old habits die hard, I suppose. (This was one I developed back in the fifth grade, when I read 3 books at the same time)

Three of the books are about books:

- 13 Ways of Looking at the Novel by Jane Smiley
- Book Smart by Jane Mallison
- A Passion for Books by various authors

They all seemed very interesting so I was more than willing to read about one of my fav. subjects: other writers writing about their fav. books or love of books.

I am also struggling with Watchmen by Alan Moore - don't get me wrong, I LOVE IT. I have skimmed through it, I know the story but I haven't read it all the way through.

As silly as it sounds, I don't want to finish it because then, in some weird way, it'll be over...And I hate that I have to wait for the film so damn long...Like with Cowboy Bebop and Lord of the Rings, Watchmen only leaves me wanting more and more because it is so damn good I don't want it to end. You enjoy the ride so much you don't want to get off.

I have also started Dead Until Dark (Book 1 of the Sookie Stackhouse series) because after watching the first episode of True Blood on HBO (based on these books) I refused to be left on a cliff hanger - I ended up reading over 20 pages without even realizing it...I'm hooked already! *lol*

The other book is Dead Witch Walking - interesting start but for some reason it may take me a while to get much more interested in it...Some books are like that. I usually give a book till page 100 to get me interested, if not I put it down and move on. I think that's more than fair...

But recently I have been thinking, I have so many interests ( and journals) and books to read and fanfics I want to write, movies I want to see and review and be able to make a great journal/blog out of it all [to keep it all recorded down]...

I really wonder if I can manage all that while ALSO working at my job, doing school, crafting a portfolio on the side and working on my original fiction....I also try to keep track of all my friends at all my different journals. I tell people to friend my other journals mainly as an attempt to get them all on the same list no matter what name I'm logged into but that doesn't exactly...work. So, I am trying to check on them all when I can and write when I can and read when I can...

It all seems a little overwhelming sometimes...I really truly wonder how all these other people do it all.

But then many of them just have one journal...

*sigh*
